With all the Atlus news coming out in the last few hours I could have easily lumped all the announcements into one article, but frankly, where’s the fun in that. Instead, I’m going to treat this like Atlus just held their own convention exclusively for me, and my now ten foot erection, called Atlusenomenon 2011!!!
First up, the fine team over there ensures that not only I will in fact be purchasing a new PS Vita, something I strongly was opposed to, but also that I will do it glady thanks to a special rerelease of Persona 4 subtitled, “The Golden“.
Undoubtedly the Port will include a slew of new extra, much like the recent release of Persona 3 to PSP. Here are just a few that we know for sure:
- New events
- New Personas
- New character outfits
- New anime movie scenes, with new voices
- 1.5 times the voice of the PS2 original
- New song for the opening movie
- An unnamed element requested by fans
Other additions include a new female character named Marie, who is described a mysterious girl who appears before the main characters, and a new message system that will allow other players to come save you when you’re about to die. Not sure how all the mechanics work on all that, but given how many time I died on dungeon 4, I’m all in.
